Running a libGDX project on iOS

I have a few games developed in libgdx which are currently published on the google play. I want to port them to iOS and publish at some point at AppStore. I have found this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS-YDqD_DrQ, which explains how you can do that. Unfortunately, I found that RoboVM is winding down, so you cannot create an account and even install the RoboVM plugin in Android Studio.

Question:
How is it possible to launch the app on iOS simulator to test the game?
