how to manage packages for demo vs. full?

Anything about development not directly related to libgdx, e.g. OpenGL, Android APIs etc.

A script (Python or similar) to copy the necessary files from the full to the demo version might make things easier.

Oh sure. Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V isn't that bad, and if I end up changing the assets a lot, I would write something to automate it.

I might be wrong but I understood that you are speaking package name as java package. Google play uses package name given in manifest file and it is NOT the same thing that package name in your java code.

ok thats goog to know
so there are multiple ways to handle this.
i have now two android-versions in my workspace with different package name (code + manifest)
that works well.... so that is ok for me right now...
