how to run a GWT application? [solved]

Hi all i am new to GWT compiled project and was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.

I have managed to get the GWT compiler to work, but i am not sure of the compiled location.. I am assuming it is in the HTML project folder, the index file and associated files that go with it.

How do i run this file?

I have tried to launch it in a browser to no success .. just a blank screen.

Do i need to run this on a server?

How do i run the compiled project?

Yes, you will need to copy that to a server. Copy everything in the war folder (except the WEB-INF folder).
