permission to use the framework

I am only just starting with programming games and at this point I feel that the framework provided for Mr. Nom game will suit my basic needs. Of course later on, as my experience with coding for Android will increase I will most probably come up with my own framework. In the meantime am I legally allowed to use the one from the book?

I think I need to explain that I would like to use the framework provided in strictly non-commercial Android minigames.

As Mario stated earlier, we are free to use his frameworks in any way that suits us best, he just needed to give it a licence for convention. I´m already using the Mr.Nom framework for a commercial project

Oh cool. So apart from giving him credit I don't really need to get any licence agreements or provide information on where I am using his framework? That is pretty awesome. Thanks.

The framework is licensed as New BSD, you can use it for whatever you want.

The art assets (graphics/sounds) can not be used in commercial projects though!

I also found the Mr. Nom framework very helpful, particularly for dragging objects around on the screen with pre-3.0 versions of Android. I really appreciate your willingness to make it available for public use. I tweaked it with a few added features to work with my first published app, a word game called "Word Links". Danke!
