I have a Xperia Play, no touch screen problem I'm aware of.
I succeeded in making the pinch gesture work, right after I wrote my message on the topic ... but it was luck, can't make it work when I want.

Thanks for the reply.
I do not think it as something to do with the Xperia, i think I know what it is, I believe it as something to do with the order you move the fingers on the screen and the order you touch the screen, can you confirm this? Just to know if it is the same problem I detected here:(
