OpenGL ES 2.0 libgdx demos

Mr. Stefan Wagner, aka twbombo, just informed me via twitter that he put up a sweet libgdx/OpenGL ES 2.0 based demo reel.

Check out his blog post for more information. Nicely done, gotta check them demos on Le Android.

As pointed out by Stefan, the OBJ loader is pretty slow. We will fix this in the 1.0 release that will include all the new and shiny 3D stuff. In general its a bad idea to use text based formats on Android for anything bigger than a highscore list.

  2. It means you should save your models, levels, whatever binary in your own format instead of text-based files.
    Text based files are bigger and you must parse them.
