Advice to a Godot beginner in transition from LibGDX

Anything about development not directly related to libgdx, e.g. OpenGL, Android APIs etc.

Well, easiest way might be trying using it with C# - which is very similar to Java. Can't help much more since I decided against Godot long time ago. Currently using haxe so I can choose engine later and using html5 for the prototype (I am working on a pretty simple adventure game with a lot of text, and I hate the way libGDX does text, so I had to switch for this game at least).

Hi, I'm a LibGDX lover(LibGDX is still one of my favorite things of all time. especially with Kotlin). I also really like Godot though. I'm debating which one is better. Godot definitely makes several key things easier, I've yet to decide if it's truly better than LibGDX, in the 2D gamedev world I live in though.

That being said go ahead and start using the 3.1 beta. It's stable enough, and supposedly this last beta is basically gonna be the first release candidate.
