Tutorial series "A simple game" with Kotlin and LibKTX

Hi,

I have written a tutorial based on the "A simple game" tutorial of LibGDX.
I used the Kotlin code as a base and enhanced it with some best practices and LibKTX extensions.

Also, I explain how to setup an up to date project with gradle 5.x support and how to run the DesktopLauncher as Kotlin run configuration.

As a last step I add pooling and a TextureAtlas to further improve the performance of this small game.

As an optional part I also added an Ashley entity component system solution for the game.

It started because I wanted to help the LibKTX guys by providing a simple tutorial series to showcase their extensions.
