Android IAP ENTITLEMENT with Gdx-pay requestPurchaseRestore(

Hi,

I have a problem with the IAP with Gdx-pay on Android. How to:

1. Remove the IAP item type ENTITLEMENT (Remove ads) purchased with the my account test.

2. Set the IAP item type ENTITLEMENT (Remove ads) to the purchased value when the user purchases a CONSUMABLE item (Bonus Remove Ads free). In this case I save a value = true on data to know that item type ENTITLEMENT (purchased ads) purchased. But if that account is logged on to another device then the item type ENTITLEMENT (Remove ads) has not been purchased.

To returns the correct result when call: getPlatformResolver (). requestPurchaseRestore ();

Hi,

You should mark the "Remove Ads" IAP as non-Consumable.Consumable items are those which can be bought again and again after consuming them in the game. This is not the case for "Remove Ads" IAP.

Do you use Gdx-pay to pay for IAP on your android and ios games?

Hi,

Yes, I am using gdx-pay. I don't fully understand your question. I can tell you what I would do. I will create a non-consumable item for "Remove Ads" which user can buy to remove ads. Now, for the case, when user logs to another device with the same account, I will provide a button "Restore Purchases" which he will call to restore his/her purchases including "Remove Ads".

If you want to reset the non-consumable item for further testing then you can change its type temporarily to consumable item and buy it which will cause its value to get reset. But then when you are done with testing, you should change its type to non-consumable before publishing.
