Multitexturing and rendering font on a texture

Postby manopolist » Fri Sep 07, 2018 8:54 pm

Hello,
I have a problem: I have a basic texture and want to add something to it in the code. So, how can I render multiple textures on one model? I also want to add a color at a specific point. How do I do that? And last: On the texture should be text from my BitMapFont. So how do I render a text on a texture? I tried meshBuilder and MeshParts, but it doesn't work. The Class: https://pastebin.com/0sTX4c1P.

Thank you for helping

I have an implementation currently that stores each letter as it's own separate texture, usually only a couple pixels in width and height. So this has some problems as i am unable to do a batch render, i can only batch render the same characters. I am stuck with this format, all i can do is try and process it into something better at runtime. I was thinking of creating a single larger texture from all the little ones instead.
